INGREDIENT REVIEW :: Body Washes & Shower Gels |

Use a natural organic body wash or shower gel to keep your skin feeling great after bathing, instead of feeling like you were just pushed through a car wash!
Commercial cleansers rely on alcohol and petroleum products to dislodge dirt and dead skin. These ingredients also remove natural oils and cause drying. To counteract this, manufacturers may add mineral oil (a petroleum product) to make the skin feel soft, but can also block pores and promote cosmetic acne.
Cleansing creams and lotions may also contain TEA, MEA, FD&C (coal tar) colors, hormone disrupting parabens, antibacterials, irritants and sensitizers. Many conventional bath and shower products contain sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) and propylene glycol - ingredients also found in anti-freeze, engine degreasers and solvents.
While we all want to smell great and feel clean and refreshed, choosing whatever item is on sale at the local grocery store is not the best choice for our skin and health.

|
Quite often, manufacturers use the least expensive products available without concerning thoughts about potential health risks to consumers ... This means you and your family!

It doesn't matter who or where you purchase the products from. What's important is to become an informed consumer and know how to spot the lies and read the labels ... We're here to help!
Your skin absorbs up to 60% of the ingredients (including the synthetic and toxic chemicals) found in the personal care products, skin care and cosmetics you use on a daily basis.
