INGREDIENT REVIEW :: Body Lotion Products

Use natural and organic body lotions for soft, supple skin that radiates and smells great!

Have you spent a fortune on products that claim to give you soft, healthy and beautiful skin, only to find that you need to keep reapplying and frankly, they just don't work?

While the battles of alleviating dry skin and smelling great can be frustrating and quite costly after trying one ineffective product after another, the really horrifying and potentially damaging part is the continuous use of the unnatural chemical concoctions we put on our skin daily.

Conventional lotions are basically a mixture of water and oil, with an emulsifier added to keep the product from separating. PEG is the most common emulsifier in hand lotions and it can be contaminated with 1,4-dioxane (a carcinogen).

Common ingredients include triethanolamine, petrolatum, polysorbate-20, propylene glycol (a neurotoxin and skin sensitizer), lecithin, tocophery acetate, synthetic fragrances and FD&C colors (made from coal and have been found to cause cancer in animals and many people experience allergic reactions like skin irritation and contact dermatitis).

TEA (a skin sensitizer and cause of contact dermatitis), DMDM hydantoin and quaternium-15 are often used can release carcinogenic formaldehyde. Hormone disrupting parabens are commonly used as preservatives. Lanolin (an animal product) is often found in lotions and can be contaminated with pesticides and some people are sensitive to it.

Many commercial body lotions can contain a variety of toxic and potentially harmful ingredients which may result in eye and skin irritations, allergic reactions and skin rashes ... Some ingredients are even known to cause cancer or other serious health conditions!

How Safe Are Your Body Firming Lotions?
Commercial Body Moisturizers - Toxic Ingredient Review

Quite often, manufacturers use the least expensive products available without concerning thoughts about potential health risks to consumers ... This means you and your family!

It doesn't matter who or where you purchase the products from. What's important is to become an informed consumer and know how to spot the lies and read the labels ... We're here to help!

Your skin absorbs up to 60% of the ingredients (including the synthetic and toxic chemicals) found in the personal care products, skin care and cosmetics you use on a daily basis.

Absorbing natural and organic ingredients from plant oils and waxes, mineral pigments and essential oils is a smarter and healthier alternative!

Keep it simple and safe with all Natural Body Lotions and look and feel fabulous! Choose Organic Body Lotion Products, because you ARE worth it!
